Jim is a creative arts leader with over 25 years experience in theatre education, specializing in new play development, theatre history, and playwriting programs for youth. He is dedicated to the roles of education programming in audience development and artistic programming in the classroom.

Jim's accomplishments include: revitalizing school theatre programs; reimagining & producing the annual New Jersey Young Playwrights Contest & Festival; facilitating conversations between arts educators & administrators; research on young playwrights programming in the United States; adjudication of performing and literary artists competitions for youth; development and management of the Young Playwrights Guide.
